Karen Kay (Ritchey) Erwin

passed away Sept. 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving

family following a courageous battle with cancer.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, Roy

Ritchey; mother, Ruth (Hane) Ritchey; husband,

Mickael (Bear) Erwin; daughter, Karla (KJ) Calvanese;

sisters, Janet Englant and Beverly Young. Karen

always kept a positive yet mischievous spirit be it during

her 10 years working at Affinity Medical Center or

spending time with family and friends. Karen loved to spend

time with her family and friends or curl up with a good book.

Karen is survived by son, Robert (Debbie) McKinney;

daughter, Nora (Rich) Gurgle; grandsons, Robert Lee

McKinney, Richard Presutti III, Austin Kinsey, Owen Calvanese;

granddaughters, Ashley McKinney, Olivia Calvanese;

great-grandchildren, Marley, Maxen and Maddix;

sisters, Helen Ritchey, Beverly Baker, Carol (Jerry) Strait,

Edith (Buck) Irwin, Linda (Jack) Strait and Charleen (Lee)

Harmon; special friends, Libby Pearson, Bonnie Ames,

Linda Jensen and numerous nieces and nephews. The family

would also like to thank nurse Melissa and Crossroads

Hospice.

Momma, you will be missed dearly and a piece of our

hearts will remain broken until we reunite again. Rest high

on that mountain precious Momma, finally no more pain.

Calling hours will be Monday, Oct. 1st from 2-3 p.m. with

the funeral to follow at 3 pm at Sanders Funeral Home in

East Canton with Pastor John Troyer officiating.
