Kathleen M. "Kathy" Lewton

Kathleen M. "Kathy" Lewton, 76, of Canton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar, Ohio. She was born on August 6, 1950, in Canton to the late Raymond W. and Florance R. (Schneider) Foltz and remained a lifelong resident of the Canton community.

Kathy was an active member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, part of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Following her graduation from Central Catholic High School, she built a career as an executive assistant, working alongside executives and administrators at The Timken Company. She was known for her professionalism and dedication to her work.

Kathy's greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her husband, children and grandchildren. Kathy and her husband, Harold, recently celebrated 50 years of marriage, marking a lifetime of love and shared memories. Her children and her grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy and the brightest lights in her life. Every moment spent with them was a treasure, and the love she gave them will remain a part of them forever. The yearly skiing trips together spent as a family will always be a special memory for everyone honored to go. She was very compassionate and generous and loved by every person that met her.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Harold D. Lewton; daughter, Rochelle (Rich) Ferren; son, Dennis (Holly) Lewton; grandchildren; Gabrielle Lewton, Taryn Ferren, Trent Ferren, Bridgette Lewton and Kassandra Lewton; sister, Theresa McEndree; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, 4041 Cleveland Ave S. Canton, OH 44707. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2207 3rd St. SE, Canton, Ohio 44707, with Very Rev. Kevin Peters, V.F., serving as celebrant. Private burial will take place at a later date.
