Kenneth L. Hill
Age 88, of East Canton died Monday, April 16, 2012 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born Sept. 23, 1923 in Peabody, KS. to the late Walter and Effie (Blazer) Hill. He was an East Canton resident since 1940 and a U.S. Army WWII veteran. Kenneth retired from the Timken Company in 1986 with 42 years of service and also retired from Osnaburg Local Schools where he was a bus driver. He was a member of Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church, American Legion Lowell D. Oberly Post #667, VFW and the DAV. Preceded in death by his wife, Grace Hill in 2004; four brothers and one sister. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Deborah Hill of North Olmsted, OH; two daughters, Paulette Dillon and Darla Hill both of Canton; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one sister, Jeanne L. Warrick of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, April 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Karin Himstedt officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 pm.
