Kenneth W. Schempf

Age 93, of Columbus, OH and formerly of Canton, passed away Tuesday September 14, 2021. He was born November 22, 1927, in Canton to the late George and Grace (Taylor) Schempf. Kenneth received several bachelor’s degrees as well as a master’s and Doctorate from Kent State. He also held a CPA and CMA designation. He dedicated his life to education and served as a professor at numerous Colleges and Universities throughout the country. After retiring he continued to educate himself until the age of 90 taking classes at Ohio State and Capital University. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Grace (Ream) Schempf in 2007 and daughter, Kar Lee Lombardo. Kenneth is survived by his son, George K. (Cris) Schempf; one granddaughter, Aimee Marie (Sky) Mielke; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday September 22, 2021, at 2:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
