Kraig F. Brechbuhler, 74, of Jackson Township, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 29, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Canton, Ohio, on October 29, 1951, to the late Clyde B. and Wanda L. (Fair) Brechbuhler. Kraig remained a lifelong resident of the community.

Like his father, Kraig was a driven and determined man who believed in working hard and taking care of his personal family, professional families and BEYOND. Kraig was a graduate of Canton South High School and continued his education, earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of New York. Kraig went on to be the third-generation leader of Brechbuhler Scale Companies. Through his work, he was known for his determination, timeliness, and willingness to do whatever it took to help his personal and professional families. Those that knew him, know it gave him great pleasure to help others.

While Kraig accomplished much throughout his life, his greatest joy was his wife, Wendy “Toots”, and the family they shared. He cherished the time spent with those he loved and especially enjoyed driving, engines, Northern Michigan, Key West, donkeys, running and working out, boating, his many “projects” and taking care of customers. Kraig will be remembered for his selfless love and generosity, and most of all, the love and devotion he showed to his family. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.

Kraig was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde B. and Wanda L. Brechbuhler.

Those left to cherish Kraig’s memory include his beloved wife, Wendy S. (Perkins) Brechbuhler; son Andy and his fiancé Jen; daughter Madison and son-in-law Mason, daughter Abbe, along with numerous other family members and friends who will deeply miss him, also his dog Dewey.

Per Kraig’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Faith Family Church’s Legacy Children’s Program.
