Kris Shaffer
Age 93, of East Sparta died Friday, September 29, 2017 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born October 3, 1923 in Canton, Ohio to the late Samuel and Barbara (Greavu) Muntean. She was a life resident of East Sparta and a member of First Christian Church of East Sparta. Preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Shaffer in 1999 and three brothers. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Kris and Michael Helm, Jonnie Gage, Vicki and Thomas Ledger; three grandchildren, Amanda Basham, Angela McFarland, Michael Helm; seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, October 2, 2017 at 11:30 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Brother Tim Carlson officiating. Friends will be received two hours prior to the service on Monday from 9:30 – 11:30 am.
