Age 58 of Magnolia, OH passed away Wednesday December 8, 2021 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born May 15, 1963 in Barberton, OH to the late Charles and Ada Marie (Gardner) Dengate Jr. Leigh was employed by Will-Burt Company in Orrville, OH for the past 15 years and served as a patrolman with the Dalton Police Department. He enjoyed the time he spent at Atwood Lake with his family and good friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Dengate. Leigh is survived by his wife, Joan M. (Hoiles) to whom he was married 8 years; three stepchildren, William Friend, Jessica Albert and Shaun Friend; seven step-grandchildren; one sister, Linda (William) Guinter; two brothers, Larry (Rose) and Loren (Diane) Dengate. Funeral services will be Monday December 13, 2021 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. Burial will be in Melscheimer Cemetery. Family and friends will be received one hour before services on Monday (10-11am). Facial coverings will be required for all services.
