Lenora Celestia Kocher

Lenora Celestia Kocher, 101 was born in Beallsville, OH to the late William C. and Eula M. (Baker) Kanzigg on August 16, 1924, and passed away on June 5, 2026.

She was a lifetime member of Louisville Church of Christ, Lenora spent many years as a Sunday School teacher, along with other church activities and her time with the Radiant Retirees.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold Kocher who passed in 2011; son, Richard A. Kocher; grandson, Brian K. Morrison; sisters, Eileen Delaney, Margaret Williams, and Hazel Brown; brothers, Raymond and Lester Kanzigg.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children; son, Roger (Carol) Kocher; daughters, Joyce (Herbert) Wright, Carol (Kenneth) Morrison, Sharon (Ralph) Fluharty; sister, Stella Johnson; 17 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 29 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may pay their respects at Louisville Church, 1520 California Ave, Louisville, OH 44641 on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., her funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the church. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Evergreen Memorial Gardens following services.
