Leonard E. Miller Jr., age 92, passed away on February 6th, 2024. He was born on September 1st, 1931, in Harrisburg, PA to Leonard Sr. and Ruth Miller.
Leonard served in the US Army as a medic during the Korean War. He also worked as a supervisor for Timken Steel for 32 years, and at Vogely’s Orchard for 29 years. He was also a member of the Northwest Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Esther Miller; son Eugene (Ruth) Miller; daughter, Linda (Ed) Miller; daughter, Janice (Cliff) Cooper; daughter, Donna (Tom) Hensley; several grand- and great-grandchildren; special friend and caregiver Ellen Myers; beloved cat, Eli.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Stark County Humane Society and the Veterans Association. Leonard will be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens with military honors.
