Age 90, of Canton died Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born June 8, 1927 in Poplar, NC to the late Kim and Myrtle (Cooper) Lewis. She was a Canton resident since 1948 and retired from Canton Sportswear. Lillian attended Canton Baptist Temple. She enjoyed traveling, camping, eating fish her husband, Boyd caught, gardening, crocheting, attending church and was an excellent seamstress. Preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Edwards Sr in 2011; son, Boyd Edwards Jr; a sister, Virgie Lewis; three brothers, Billy, Edward and Ray Lewis. She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Sue Wilson; son and daughter-in-law, Gary Dale and Judy Edwards; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Edwards; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Mae Edwards, Alice (William) Talkington, Betty Morris. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Rev Delaney Young officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Friday from 6 – 8 pm.
