Linda M. (Fach) Mathie
Age 51, of Canton, passed away peacefully Saturday June 26, 2010 in Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born August 3, 1958 in Canton and was a life resident of the Canton and Minerva area. Linda was a 1977 graduate of Minerva High School and employed by the Canton Repository for the past seven years. Linda was a very loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Adrian and Catherine Farver. She is survived by her husband, Dennis J. Mathie to whom she was married 17 years; three daughters and sons-in-law, Hather and Mark Shaffer, Kelly and Richard Fox, Ashley and Jacob Baker all of Canton; three grandchildren, Owen and Madison Fox, Nathan Shaffer; her parents, George and Georgia Long of Canton; guardian of, Ryan Griffith and Katie Fach; five brothers, Donald, Fred and Tim Fach, Mike (Andrea) Long, Joe Long; one sister, Mary Long (James Mollohan); mother-in-law, Kay Mathie; two brothers-in-law, Bill Mathie and Terry (Michelle) Mathie; cousin and best friend, Diane (Charlie) Dreher; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and good friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday June 30, 2010 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Dr. Chester Harris officiating. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8pm and one hour before services on Wednesday (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family to help defray expenses.
