Linda Kay (Vogt) Meola

Linda Kay Meola

age 72, of Canton Ohio, passed away on Friday October 21, 2022, after a long battle with dementia and various health complications.  She is preceded in death by her sister, Terrie Stauffer; her stepson Anthony Van Nostran; her mother, Dorcey (Weekley) Vogt and father, Clarence Vogt.  There was nothing she loved more in life than her family and pets.  In her younger years, she spent time caring for others at the House of Loreto and helping her sister run her dental business.  Later in life, after starting a family and raising a child, she devoted countless hours of her time and energy to elderly care as a home health aide.  Linda cared for all living things as her Catholic faith led her to do.  She was a wonderful mother, sister, wife, and friend.  Linda is survived by her husband, Paul Meola and her daughter Melissa Meola, both of Canton; her sister-in-law, Lea Lakosh; stepsons Joseph and Andy Meola, and her beloved cat Jello.  A celebration of Linda’s life will be at a future date.
