Linda L. Michael

Linda L. Michael (Corn), age 75, passed away on August 4, 2026 at Aultman Hospital. The daughter of the late Leonard and Neva Corn, she was born in Canton on March 16, 1951. She was a proud 1969 graduate of East Canton High School.

After graduation, she worked for the high school as the superintendent's secretary. She also enjoyed her time working at JCPenney's where she made many friends. Linda retired after devoting over 30 years to the City of Canton where she worked as the deputy treasurer.

Linda was a faithful member of Asbury Methodist Church of East Sparta where she attended for over 45 years. She was a part of the choir as well as Sisters of Faith. She freely shared her love with all those around her up until the very end. She enjoyed traveling and going on adventures, card club, purple, the Wizard of Oz and above all, being a grandma. She cherished her time with her fellow Canton city retirees. Linda's pride and joy was her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Ralph Kuhns and Robert Michael; brother, Lee Corn; and a grandson, Liam Carter Bond.

She leaves behind her children, Matthew (Pamela) Bailey, Michael (Danielle) Bailey and Megan (Kristian) Bond; grandchildren, Cristian, Noah, Micah, Reagan, Greyson, Arterina, Alexis, Brandon, Ruby, Caleb, Carter, Carlee and Caelynn; sister, Diana (Shad) Shilling; adoptive mom, Barbara Bauer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.

Family and friends may visit at Asbury Methodist Church of East Sparta (7344 Ridge Ave SE, East Sparta, OH 44626) on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 3pm until 6pm. A memorial service for Linda will begin at 6pm officiated by Pastor Jim Lawrence.
