Lois A. Hookey

Age 77, of Louisville died Saturday, February 16 ,2019 in Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born November 24, 1941 to the late Harold and Anna (Stevens) Hand. She was a Louisville resident for the past six years prior to which she resided in Canton. Lois was a former school bus driver for the Canton City Schools, Perry Local Schools and a school system in Houston, TX. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. Preceded in death by an infant son, Harold Leon Hookey; a grandson, Douglas Hookey; three brothers, Thomas, Pete and Leon Hand. She is survived by her former husband, Charles Henry Hookey; two daughters, Kim Tomko, Kylee (Doug) Huff; two sons, Henry Hookey (Paul Laher), Douglas (Donna) Hookey; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Bill Hand; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb 19, 2019 at 12:00 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 11am – 12pm.
