Age 72, of East Sparta, Ohio died Monday, July 25, 2022 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born May 5, 1950 in Canton, Ohio to James and Nada (McGowen) Farina. She was a life resident of the Canton/East Sparta area and had formerly been employed by the Timken Company. She was a member of St Peter’s Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her father, James Farina; her husband, Melvin B. Cowles in 2013. She is survived by three sons, Daniel Smith, James (Stacie) Smith, Brian Smith; two grandchildren, Nathan and Natalie Smith; her mother, Nada Farina; four brothers, Michael (Nancy), Mark (Anne), Vince, Matthew (Heather) Farina; one sister, Bonnie (Bill) Ingels. Following Lynn’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
