Margaret “Peg” Plaskett

Age 78, of East Canton, passed away August 4, 2018, after a nine-year battle with breast cancer. She was born in Guernsey County, Ohio to the late Ellis and Lucille (McNurlin) Bales. She was a graduate of Canton South High School class of 1957 and a member of Louisville Christian Church. Margaret was formerly employed by The Timken Company, Bowdil Company, and was the former owner/operator of the East Canton Dairyette. Margaret is survived by her husband, Howard Plaskett with whom she recently celebrated 59 years of marriage; daughter, Molly Plaskett; son, Douglas Plaskett; granddaughter, Amanda Plaskett; two brothers, James (Carol) Bales and John (Jan) Bales; one sister, Norma Jean (Dick) French. Funeral services will be Tuesday August 7, 2018 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rick Brown officiating. Burial will be in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday 6-8pm and one hour before services on Tuesday (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
