Marilyn M. McCoy

Age 66, of Auburndale, Fl and formerly of East Sparta, OH died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in Lakeland Regional Hospital, Florida following a brief illness. Born January 3, 1956 in Canton, Ohio to the late Raymond and Margaret (Long) Mayle. She was a Florida resident for the past seven months prior to which she resided in East Sparta. Preceded in death by her husband, David C. McCoy Sr in 2014; a great grandchild, Zayne O’Brien; one brother, Vernon Mayle. She is survived by five children, Shelly (Bobby) O’Brien, David Jr (Christine) McCoy, Matthew (Patricia) McCoy, Elizabeth McCoy, Jacob (Ashley) McCoy; seven grandchildren, Leanna, Megan, Brianna, Kaitlyn, Kara, Dylan and Caleb; five great grandchildren, Zoey, Layla, Cassidy, Stella and Carly; one brother, Rob (Autumn) Mayle; one sister, Kathy Morrell; several nieces and nephews; her companion, Scott Breedlove. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan 25, 2022 at 10:30 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5 – 7 pm.
