Marjorie J. Amstutz, age 93, of Massillon, Ohio died peacefully in her sleep at Altercare of Navarre Center on Friday, September 27, 2024. She was born, April 19, 1931 to the late Murray Clapper and Mary Ellen (Knorr) Clapper.
Marjorie was a 1950 graduate of East Canton High School and spent most of her life in the East Canton community. She was a homemaker, a devoted wife and mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the St. Paul’s Community Church. A former member of the Women’s Guild and choir member. She was a member of the Lowell D. Oberly American Legion Auxiliary.
Those left to cherish the many memories that Marjorie has left behind are her daughter Brenda (Steve) Martin; son Perry (Janice) Amstutz; four grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Marjorie was preceded in death in 2019 by her husband James Jacob Amstutz; sisters Annetta Powell, Virginia Toalston and Rose Williams.
Friends may call on October 7, 2024 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. Visitation and funeral services will be held at Sanders Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
Arrangements are entrusted to Sanders Funeral Home, 218 East Nassau St. East Canton, Ohio 44730. Friends and family may share condolences and memories.
