Marjorie Ann Richard, age 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the Truman House in New Philadelphia, Ohio. She was born on October 26, 1931, in Marietta, Ohio, to the late Clarence E. Murray Sr. and Helen M. (Wagner) Murray.
She graduated from Marietta High School.
Marjorie enjoyed baking, taking care of her garden, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved going on long drives to visit her sisters and brothers. Most importantly Marjorie was known to have a selfless spirit and helped her family in any way possible.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald E. Richard; brothers, Harry, Paul, Robert, Clarence Jr, and Arthur; sisters, Mary, Cleora, Bertha, Betty, Viola and Geneva and grandson-in-law, Gerald Driggers Jr.
Those left to cherish her memories are her son Lester Richard; daughter, Debby (Larry) Wonderley; brothers Duane Murray and Kenny Murray; sister, Bernice Morrison; grandchildren, Amber Driggers, Ashley (Shaun Price) Richard, Heather Hinchcliff, Lance Wonderley and Logan Wonderley; great-grandchildren, Dylan Driggers, Destiny Driggers, Justina Driggers, Noah Driggers, Heavenley Bolds and Elijah Bolds; great-great granddaughter Emerey Bolds.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. Marjorie’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jonathan Troyer officiating, followed by burial at Forest Hill Cemetery
