Mark H. Malavite

Age 68, of East Sparta, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Saturday, March 12, 2022. He was born April 20, 1953 to the late Gust C. and Audrey A. (Tharpe) Malavite. Mark was a 1971 graduate of Canton South High School and was employed by Malavite Excavating for 50 years. He was known as being the best bulldozer operator east of the Mississippi. He was a member of The Club, an active farmer for many years and previously participated in the rodeo circuit with his family. He is preceded in death by one son, Max. Mark is survived by his daughter, Missy (Todd) Coberly; six grandchildren, Julia, Michael, Jacob, Ryder, Kiana and Max; one great-granddaughter, Callie; two brothers, Gust (Patsy) Malavite and Kevin (Debbie) Malavite; special friends, Romaine Staats and Sharon Perrine; several nieces and nephews. A private family service will be conducted with burial following in Melscheimer Cemetery.
