Maxine L. Freshour
Maxine L. Freshour, age 80, of Magnolia died Saturday, November 13, 2004, in her home following an extended illness. Born in Spencer, WV, on April 21, 1924, daughter of the late Charles L. and Etta (Sherry) Harris. She was a Magnolia area resident since 1988 and was of Nazarene Faith. Preceded in death by her husband, Roy Freshour in 1987, son, Ricky Freshour in 2003, grandson, Norman Freshour Jr., two brothers and one sister. Survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Thelma and Hatzel Wells of East Sparta, Debra Freshour of Canton, Lisa and John Swiger of Canton; four sons and daughters-in-laws, Stanley Freshour of East Sparta, Kevin Freshour of Clarksburg, WV, Norman and Lora Freshour of Magnolia, Nelson and Kelly Freshour of Canton; one daughter-in-law, Mary Freshour of Canton; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 21 step grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eloise Freshour of Marion, OH, Mary Ann Perkins of Parkersburg, WV. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov 17, 2004 at 10 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating. Interment in Nobe #7 Cemetery, Big Springs, WV. Friends may call Tuesday evening 5-8pm.
