Mildred Ann Leatherberry, 87, of East Canton, passed away Thursday morning of a brief illness. She was born May 14,1936 in East Canton, Ohio where she attended high school. After living in Hawaii for a number of years, she returned to East Canton where she retired from Ashland Marathon Petroleum.
She is survived by her sister Josephine Hartman of Lima, Ohio, her son and daughter in law, Steve and Theresa Leatherberry of East Canton, Ohio, her daughter and son in law, Stephanie and Kevin Hudson of Laurinburg, NC, her grandchildren, Chad Leatherberry of Canton, Ohio, Andrew Deist of West End, NC and Amanda Balsamo of Raleigh, NC, great grandchildren Brendan Balsamo, Rowen Balsamo, Aaliyah Synder all from Raleigh, NC. There will be no calling hours, funeral home is arranging private family service.
