Mildred P. Sherer
Mildred P. Sherer, age 94, of East Canton died Monday in St. Luke Lutheran Community following an extended illness. An East Canton area resident most of her life and was formerly employed by Dr. Scott and Dr. Schindler for many years. Member of First Christian Church where she was active in the Christian Women's Class. Member of East Canton A.A.R.P., Eastern Star #427, Louisville, Nazir Caldron, werved as a Gray Lady at Aultman Hospital for several years and volunteered with the the American Red Cross. Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Herman in 1976, her Husband, Walter H. Sherer in 1977. Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Donella and Homer Sees of Canton; two grandchildren, Jim Sees of Canton, Yvonne Sees of Akron; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Manley Pierce officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Christian Women's Class at The First Christian Church, 2600 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44709.
