Nan M. Morris

Age 88, of Canton, passed away peacefully Friday January 21, 2022 in her home. She was born March 1, 1933 in Canton to the late Claude and Bertha (Ankrom) Long. Nan’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed the outdoors; camping, fishing and caring for all animals. She formerly was an avid quilter and seamstress and was affectionately known as the family “card shark”. She is preceded in death by her husband, Don E. Morris in 2010; one son, Larry Morris; two brothers, Russell and William Long; one sister, June Karlen. Nan is survived by two children, Dan (Jodi) Morris and Ame (Gene) Kiko; five grandchildren, Kelsey (Ronny) DiFrancesco, Korey Morris (fiancé, Mark Petro), Geno (Heather) Kiko, Tina (Jarrod) Slatzer and Julie Ward; nine great-grandchildren, Jon, Asa, Marcus, Joseph, Logan, Brandon, Ryan, Levi and Kalye; sister-in-law, Carolyn Littlefield; very special niece, Dawn (Ray) Allison; and many special extended family members. Funeral services will be Tuesday January 25, 2022 at 11:00am in St. Benedict Catholic Church with Deacon Randy Smith officiating. Friends and family will be received one hour before services at the church (10-11am).
