Patricia E. Tyler

Patricia E. Tyler, 76, was born in Canton, OH on October 26, 1949 to Robert and Euna (Nichols) Penland and passed away on April 25, 2026.

She graduated from Canton South High School. After high school in 1975 she was a pioneer for women in the administrative healthcare industry when she received her LNHA.

Patricia loved spending time with her family, traveling especially to Georgia and dining out at her favorite restaurants. She also enjoyed watching game shows and crime television and was an avid Yahtzee player.

Patricia took great pride in her career, her accomplishments and helping others, after retirement she was a Guardian ad Litem for Stark County.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodney Tyler who passed away in 2020; brothers, Robert, John, Randal, Fred and Rex; sister, Susan Penland; sisters in laws Irene Penland and Juanita Powell.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Charlotte (Scott) Zieman, Danielle (Michael) Weller and Allen (Charlotte) Tyler; sisters, Marie Tabellion and Paula Penland; grandchildren, Austin and Owen Zieman, Genevieve, Grant and Gabriel Tyler; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-laws, Pat (Steve) Abel, Deanna (Tom) Torch and Barb Penland; brother-in-laws, Vernon (Bonnie) Tyler and Carl (Suzie) Tyler.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday April 30, 2026 at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, 4041 Cleveland Ave. S, Canton, OH 44707 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the day of the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Her funeral service will be on Friday May 1, 2026 starting at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Will Stuart officiating. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
