Philip J. Stoffer

Philip J. Stoffer, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025. A lifetime resident of Canton, he was born on July 24, 1937 to Floyd and June (Felgar) Stoffer.

Philip retired from Republic Steel in 1995 with 39 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #504 F & AM, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Canton.

Philip is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Pattyann (Brothers), daughter, Terrilin Carpenter, sons, Timothy Stoffer and John Schmidt, and daughter-in-law, Nina Stoffer.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Philip J. Stoffer; four grandchildren, Tiffany, Trisha, Jennifer, Timothy; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and sister, Sue Carol Caldwell.

Per Philip’s wishes, no services will be held.
