Rebecca "Becky" Sue Tucker

Our beloved Rebecca “Becky” Sue Tucker, 72, of Canton, Ohio, passed away on December 29, 2022 surrounded by family and friends.

Becky was born on March 30, 1950 to Lawrence and Virginia (Stephens) Gallagher in Barnesville, Ohio. She attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from Timken High School in 1968.  She went on to marry Bob Tucker with whom she shared 51 happy years.

Becky was proud of her Irish heritage and devoted to her Catholic faith. Her love of family was boundless; she was a doting wife and mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. She was loved by all. Her kindness was unending and she always made time for others.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence “Gib” and Virginia; brothers, Dan and Tim Gallagher; and brother-in-law, Robert Stubblefield.

Becky is survived by her husband Bob; sons, Jason (Stephanie) and Michael; grandchildren, Lauren and Luke; sister, Sharon Stubblefield; brothers, Joe, Ted (Maggie) and Rick Gallagher; sister-in-law, Diana; brother-in-law, John (Amy) Tucker and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 3rd from 6-8:00pm and on Wed, January 4th from 9:30-10:30am at the funeral home.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church 1602 Market Ave S., Canton, OH 44707 at 11:00 am with Fr. Tom Bishop as celebrant.  Becky will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
