Robert C. Bowser
Age 80, of Canton died Monday, January 15, 2018 in Aultman Hospital. Born November 19, 1937 in East Canton, Ohio to the late Robert M and Thelma (Billman) Bowser. He was a U.S. Marine veteran. Bob retired from the Timken Company with 28 ½ years of service. He was a member and served as a deacon with Southwest Church of Christ. Bob loved to camp and fish. Preceded in death by his step-mother, Edith Bowser; one sister, Thelma Ruckman. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lois J. (O’Connor) Bowser; two daughters and son-in-law, Joanna and Rodney Orr, Norma Jean Gaines (Rosco Kenner); five sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Ruth Bowser, Richard and Jeannette Bowser, Robert C. Jr and Tammy Bowser, Brian and Franny Bowser, Todd Bowser; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one sister, Caroline Maniez; two brothers and sister-in-law, Clifford and Minnie Bowser, James and Bernadine Bowser; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan 18, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Rannie Cox officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday (Today) from 6-8 pm.
