Rodney W. Strobel

Rodney W. Strobel (1953-2025) passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025 in his home, surrounded by his family and friends in person and in heart.

Rod retired as a Master Auto Mechanic and continued as a "Rescue Ranger" for his family and friends regarding all things mechanical. He married his beloved wife, Kathy, in 1975, and through 50 years of life together they raised and cherished three amazing daughters, Dacie, Mandi and Adriel, allowing them to be blessed again with eight grandchildren.

Rod was known for his unique sense of humor, his stories of life as a hot air balloon crew member and pilot, devoted friendships, and his creative woodworking skills. He enjoyed sharing his love of fishing with his family and friends.

Rod is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathy (Neisel); his children, Dacie Palmer, Mandi Heath and Adriel Jackson; and his grandchildren, Peyton, Mikayla, Jordan, Cristian, Katie, Anthony (AJ), Ashton and Aubrianna. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilson and D. Jeanne Strobel and three siblings Vaughn (Butch), Kathryn (KJ) and Dennis (Denny) and their spouses.

Private interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Louisville, Ohio. A Celebration of Life is to be planned soon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice in Rod's memory.
