Roger E. Baker
Roger E. Baker, age 54, of Canton died Saturday, December 4, 2004 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Canton, Ohio on May 6, 1950 and was a life resident. Graduate of Canton South High School Class of 1968 and a Vietnam Army Veteran. Retired from the Timken Company after 31 years of service; and was one of the founders and paramedics of Stark Ambulance. Former member of Canton Township Fire Department, Station #2 and a devoted member of the Army-Navy Club, Garrison #150. Survived by three sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Brianne Baker of Ft. Campbell, KY, Jonathan Baker, Stationed with the 173rd BDE in Italy and Jacob Baker of Canton; one daughter, Rebecca Baker of Canton; the children's mother, Shirley Baker of Canton; mother, Ada M. Baker of Canton; two brothers, Robert and Victor Baker both of Canton; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Tony Sablar of Canton; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at 10 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Chaplains Ronald Bryant and Stan Anderson officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday evening, 5-8 pm with a Fireman's Service a 4:40pm.
