Ronald Wayne Hampton

Age 77, of East Sparta, passed away January 29, 2022. He was a 1963 graduate of Tusky Valley High School where he was active in sports and school plays. He was a U.S. Navy veteran; he was able to see the world and delivered supplies to Vietnam. He was a member of Pike Grange and participated in their competition productions. He retired from The Timken Company after 38 years of service where he served as a union steward and enjoyed driving bus for the clients of Stark County DD. He participated in the Timken Golf League. He is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Christa Lynn Hampton. Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Darlene K. (Ley) to whom he was married 53 years; four beloved children, Beth Hampton, Debbie Nash, Dwayne (Dana) Hampton and David Hampton; he greatly enjoyed his three grandchildren, Destiny, Finnabair and Violet. His family will miss him dearly. A private family service will be conducted in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. There will be no public services.
