Ronald J. Rush

Age 81, of Canton, Ohio died Friday, August 13, 2021 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born September 1, 1939 in Canton to the late George and Della (Baim) Rush. He was a 1957 graduate of Canton South High School and a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran. Ron was a Canton resident and had also resided in Amherst and Vermilion, Ohio. He retired from the Ford Motor Company. He was a life member of Amvets OH-22. Ron was an avid golfer. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, R. David and Amy Rush; a daughter, Randi Morse; four grandchildren, Charlotte, Kristina, Anthony, and Benjamin; eight great grandchildren; three brothers, David (Sheila), Thomas, and Timothy Rush; three sisters, Janice Brownfield, Mary Margaret (Ron) Lee, Debbie (John) Hahn; numerous nieces and nephews; his dog, Ziggy. A graveside service will be Thursday, Aug 19, 2021 at 10:00 am in Calvary Cemetery, Massillon. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave., Canton.
