Ronald L. Van Meter
Age 66, of Carrollton died unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Born February 9, 1955 in Paris, Ohio to the late Dwight and Olive (Totten) Van Meter. He was a Carrollton resident for the past 12 years. Ronald was formerly employed by American Steel and in the oil fields. Preceded in death by two brothers, George and Charles Van Meter. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rita (Fisk) Van Meter; a stepson, Scott (Shannon) Reed; four grandchildren, Alana McGonagle, Shelby Reed, Joell Alexander, Tyrese Alexander; one great granddaughter, Ryder Goff; three brothers, Gary (Pat), Dwight, Paul Van Meter; one sister, Mary Lou Shenefieid; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be Monday Sept. 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm in Liberty Cemetery, Minerva, OH.
