Ronda L. Layton

Age 50, of Sarasota, FL died Friday, September 17, 2021 following a five-year battle with Lupus. Born October 3, 1970 in Canton, Ohio to Ronald and Mary Lynn (Armstrong) Layton. Ronda was a 1989 graduate of Canton South High School and a graduate of Mount St. Joseph University. She was a Sarasota resident for the past 25 years prior to which she was a Canton resident. Ronda was employed as a nurse with Tidewell Hospice. She attended Bayside Church, Sarasota. Preceded in death by a brother, Aaron Layton; grandparents, Gerald and Rosella Layton, Edgar and Delores Armstrong. She is survived by her parents, Ronald and Mary Lynn Layton; brother, Brent Layton; sister-in-law, Dana Layton; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave., Canton. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Thursday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
