Rory Jean Nimon
Rory Jean Nimon lost her battle against a terminal illness January 21st, 2012. Born on July 19, 1947 in Canton, Ohio, she was a bright personality and maintained a life-long love of education. She was the first mentally challenged person in the U.S. to be inducted into the National Adult Education Honor Society.
Rory is survived by her parents, Harry Nimon, Sr. and G. Louise Nimon, and her brother, Harry Nimon and his wife Marian Nimon; as well as her nieces and nephews: Gloria and Scott Fawcett, Jessica Nimon, Paul and Karen Nimon, and Veronica Nimon; along with other family and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 30, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
Rory was a joy to all who met her and will be deeply missed.
