Rosemary Waikem
Age 72, of East Sparta died Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born July 22, 1945 in Canton, OH to the late Paul E and Rita LaVonne (Nordick) Sanderson. She was a life resident of the Canton/East Sparta area. Rosemary was formerly employed by the Pizza Oven and Fitness Quest. She enjoyed her grandchildren and her pets. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard M “Dick” Waikem Sr in 2012; a granddaughter, Rachyl Mariah Waikem; one brother, Eddie Sanderson; a daughter-in-law, Rosie Price. She is survived by three sons and daughter-in-law, Richard M Waikem Jr, Mark and Stacie Waikem, James Waikem; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott and Barbara Sanderson, Robert and Wendy Sanderson; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at 10:00 am in St Mary’s of Morges Catholic Church Cemetery, 8012 Bachelor Rd NW, Waynesburg, OH 44688, with Fr Anthony Batt officiating. Friends may call Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.
