Rovana F. “Ronnie” Miller was born on January 28, 1931, in Indianapolis, IN to Philip and Elizabeth (Schumann) Roell. She passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Rovana was a member of St. Mary/St. Benedict Church (St. Francis of Assisi Parish). She was a registered nurse and spent over 20 years collectively working with Dr. Joel Davis and Dr. Jin Chae in East Canton.
Rovana enjoyed listening to music, watching her favorite college and pro basketball teams, and challenging her mind with crossword puzzles, reading and doing jigsaw puzzles. She most importantly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers (Billy, Eddie and Philip), two sisters (Agnes Oskins and an infant sister), husband Billy R. “Bill” Miller who died on August 19, 2021; a grandson Kyle Jutras, and a great-granddaughter Gracie Schmucker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her 11 children; Valerie (Dave) Braham, Bruce (Melissa) Miller, Calvin (Carlee) Miller, Mark (Jo Ellen) Miller, Larry (Paula) Miller, Paula (Larry) Smith, Evelyn (Tom) Donato, Laura Jutras, Juanita (Joel) Schmucker, Monica (Kirk) Zinke and Marcella (Robert) Wood; 29 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
Per her wishes there will be private graveside services for her and her husband Bill at Mapleton Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center at 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708.
