Sandra Jean Hughes

Sandra Hughes (Madden), age 86, entered Heaven's Gate on July 21, 2026.

She was reunited with her beloved husband, Wilburn; her son, John Hughes; her granddaughter, Dr. Chasidy Mayle; her parents, John and Winona Madden; as well as her brother, Terry Madden.

She is survived by her children, Rose Hughes (significant other, Ken Littlefield), Catherine (Chuck) Elseser; Betty (Keith) Thompson, and Richard Hughes (significant other, Heather); 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Dennis (Mary), Tony (Rose), Jim and Joanne Madden.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 11am at Northlawn Cemetery (4927 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709) officiated by Pastor Nate Alderfer.
