Sandra S. Myers

Sandra S. Myers, a beloved presence in the hearts of many, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024. Born on June 10, 1946, to the late Paul and Helen (Hayes) Lucas, Sandra's journey was marked by warmth, compassion, and a deep love for life's simple pleasures.

Sandra dedicated herself to her craft as a meat cutter for Fisher Foods, where her skill and dedication were evident to all who knew her. Yet, beyond her profession, Sandra 's life was rich with diverse passions. She found solace and joy in the company of her dogs, whose loyalty mirrored her own unwavering devotion. Her green thumb was legendary, as she lovingly tended to her flowers and plants, transforming her surroundings into vibrant havens of beauty.

In 2006, Sandra endured the profound loss of her husband, David “Butch” Myers, and later mourned the passing of her granddaughter, Heather. Despite these hardships, she remained a pillar of strength for her family and friends.

Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her children Susan Indorf, Doug Myers, and Mark (Tammy) Myers, who will forever treasure her guidance and affection. Her grandchildren, Joshua, Tyler, Brittanie, and Helen, along with her great-grandchildren, Lily, Cael, Drake, and Margot, will carry forward her spirit of resilience and kindness.

Among those who held a special place in Sandra's heart was her dear friend Kathy Rich, whose companionship brought light to her days. And let us not forget Blue, her faithful canine companion, who brought endless joy and companionship.

In accordance with Sandra's wishes, there will be no formal services. Instead, let us honor her memory by embracing the simple joys of life, just as she did with unwavering grace and humility. Though she may no longer walk among us, Sandra's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Rest in peace, dear Sandra, your legacy of love will endure for eternity.
