Shirley M. (Wiseman) Hoagland

Shirley M. (Wiseman) Hoagland, age 85 of Canton, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2024 in Country Lawn Center, Navarre, Ohio. She was born March 9, 1939, in Senecaville, Ohio to the late Wilber and Eva (Cale) DeVault. 

Shirley retired from Dr. McLeod’s optometry office; and was a member of the Mt. Zion Community Church.

Beside her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her first husband, Paul J. Wiseman Sr., and second husband, Donald Hoagland; daughter, Joan Wiseman; and her brother, Robert Devault.

Those left to cherish Shirley’s memory are her children: Doris (Joe) Bowman, Paul Wiseman Jr., and Denise (George) Dreer; granddaughters, Tara Contie and Myranda (Shane) Dreer; three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Miner.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 am. to 11:00 am. Thursday, June 27, 2024, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Edwards as officiant. Following her funeral service she will be laid to rest at Melscheimer Cemetery.
