Susan R. Welty

Susan R. Welty, age 73, passed away on June 14, 2023.

She was born on June 29, 1949, in Canton, Ohio, to Doyle and Corinne (Heinbuch) Tripp.

Susan was a 1967 graduate of Canton South High School; employed by American Electric Power for 30 + years; member of Asbury United Methodist Church and Canton & Buckeye Corvette Club.

Those left to cherish her memory are sister, Karlene Riley; brother, Denis (Anita) Tripp; nephew, Kevin Riley (Suzi Sutton), John Riley Jr.; nieces, Thea (Matt) McCoury, Kristina (Jonathan) Greene, Laura Owen; stepchildren, Julie, Jenny, Mike; great nieces, Emma, Fiona, Addison.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Welty; son, Dennis Selegean; and fiancé, Bob Foltz.

A private grave service will be held at Fort Laurens Cemetery.
