Susan J. Zantene

Susan J. Zantene, age 75, passed away on November 4, 2023. She was born on August 4, 1948, in Aurora, Missouri, to Bennie J. and Delagene (Davis) Fugitt.

Susan was the former owner/operator of Design One Hair Studio for 22 years.  She also taught cosmetology at five Stark County high schools.  Susan was a member of North Industry Christian Church and Pike Grange.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Darrell Zantene who she married in 1965; two daughters, Theresa Zantene, and Christy (David) Williams; three grandchildren, Bryan & Logan Willams, Mercedes (Gage) Shonce, Glenna Sue Muckley; and great-grandchildren, Noelle and Paisley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Zantene. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8th, from 10 a.m. to Noon at Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at Noon with Pastor Ed Barnes officiating. Susan will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
