Thomas E. Walpole

Thomas E. Walpole, age 81, passed away on April 15, 2023.

He was born on October 20th, 1941 in Canton, OH to Edward and Nellie (Horne) Walpole.

Thomas graduated from Louisville High School in 1959. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2374 in Louisville, OH.

Thomas spent his career as a co-owner and operator for Carrollton Truck Lines in which he retired from in 2000.

All his life Thomas enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, traveling, working on cars, building homes and various construction projects for family, having a few drinks and reminiscing with family and friends about life’s adventures. All the while willing to give advice/tips or pointers…Solicited or not!

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Joyce A. Walpole who he married in 1961; sons, Brett E. (Christine) Walpole, Michael (Melanie) Walpole, Thomas (Jessica) Walpole; grandchildren, Kaylee (Dan) DiPietro Jr, Kyle (Danni) Walpole, and Alyssa Walpole and her Fiancé Noah Burke. Six great grandchildren, Jase, Easton, Noah, Charlotte, Mila and Benson; brother Greg (Beth) Walpole; and sister, Roseann (Bob) Messer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Delores Sanderbeck; and daughter-in-law, Kelly Walpole.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Home. Friends may call two hours prior starting at 2:00 p.m.
