Timothy L. Oliver Sr

Age 71, of Canton died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. Born November 26, 1950 in Canton, Ohio to the late Mirrel and Mildred (Smith) Oliver. He was a life resident of Canton and a 1969 graduate of Canton South High School. Tim retired from Republic Steel in 2002 with 32 ½ years of service. He was a member of Myers Lake Sportsman’s Club and the Waco Firefighters Assoc. Preceded in death by a son, Robert Oliver; three brothers, Melvin, Charles and Mirrel Jr. Oliver; one sister, Carolyn Fenstemaker. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lois E. (Moore) Oliver; a son, Timothy Oliver Jr.; one daughter, Debra (James) Flanagan; three grandsons, Clayton, Christopher and Austin; one sister, Sandra (Butch) Darby; one brother, Gary (Sandra) Fenstemaker; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
