Vern A. Book
Age 62, of Brewster, Ohio died Friday, October 14, 2022 in his home following an extended illness. Born December 4, 1959 in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Vernon and Betty (Jeffers) Book. He was a 1978 graduate of Canton Timken High School and a Brewster resident for the past 30 years. Vern was formerly employed by Republic Steel and had served as Beach City police chief. He is survived by a son, Brett Book; one brother, Paul (Elberta) Book; one sister, Beth Gibson; three nephews, Ryan, Cory (Jamie), and Aron Gibson; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Following Vern’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
