William “Bill” Moose Jr, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, neighbor, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 75 years old.

To know Bill was to know kindness, generosity, and quiet strength. He was the kind of man who never hesitated to help someone in need, often putting others before himself without expecting anything in return. Whether you knew him as a friend, neighbor, or family member, there is a good chance he made your life a little easier, brighter, or better simply because that was who he was.

For 53 devoted years, Bill shared a beautiful marriage with the love of his life, Patty. Together they built a family grounded in love, laughter, loyalty, and unwavering support. He was a proud father and grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his family, from everyday conversations to holiday gatherings and simple moments that became lifelong memories.

Bill had a lifelong love for cars and baseball — passions that brought him joy throughout his life and gave him countless stories, memories, and moments shared with family and friends. Whether he was admiring a classic car, or watching a ballgame, those who knew him could see the spark in his eyes.

He was also a man of few words, but when he spoke, people listened. He never felt the need to be the loudest person in the room, because the things he said mattered. His words carried wisdom, humor, honesty, and heart.

Bill will be remembered for his incredible work ethic, his selflessness, and his unmistakable sense of humor. He had a sarcastic wit and a perfectly timed comment for nearly every occasion — the kind that could make you shake your head one moment and laugh uncontrollably the next. Even in ordinary moments, he had a way of making people feel comfortable, welcomed, and cared for.

More than anything, Bill was a role model. He led not through words alone, but through actions — showing those around him what it meant to be dependable, humble, hardworking, and compassionate. His family will forever carry his lessons, his humor, and his example in their hearts.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patty; his children, Bill III, Joe, and Samantha; his grandchildren, Lola and Louie, and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Norma.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Bill by doing something kind for someone else — just as he always did.

Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for every moment we had with him. His love, laughter, wisdom, and legacy will remain with us always.
