William H. Talkington

Age 84, of Canton died Sunday January 6, 2019 in his home following a brief illness. Born February 3, 1934 in Folsom, WV to the late Robert P. and Carrie M. (Price) Talkington. He was a Canton resident most of his life and was a U.S. Army veteran. William retired from Danner Press in 1999. Preceded in death by three sisters and nine brothers. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alice J (Lewis) Talkington; two sons and daughter-in-law, Bill Talkington, Mike and Andrea Talkington; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Derrel Millican; seven grandchildren, Joshua (Stephanie), Jenifer (Jeremy), Joseph, Alicia, Angela (Mike), Sophia and Jack; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Wanetta King; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, Jan 11, 2019 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Dr Chester Harris officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Thursday from 6 – 8 pm.
