Zella Mae Yohe

Zella Mae Yohe age 93, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, in Danbury of Massillon.  She was born in Grantsville, Maryland on October 7, 1930, to the late Clarence Kinsinger and Leone (Mayer) Kinsinger.  

Zella remained a lifelong resident of the Canton Community.  She was a 1948 graduate of Osnaburg High School.  She was an active homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Resurrection. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading and crocheting.  She especially loved spending time with her family.

Zella is proceeded in death by her husband of 71 years Richard C. Yohe Sr; sister Lois Baker; brothers John and Dale Kinsinger.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Karen Barrick, Richard C. Jr. (Joan) Yohe and Kay (Kim) Clark; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchild; sisters Marilyn (Howard) Hall, Carol Miller, Wilma Humes and Sandy (Jim) Bellamy; brothers Earl Kinsinger, Gary (Linda) Kinsinger and Ormun Kinsinger.

In keeping with Zella’s wishes a private family service will occur to celebrate her remarkable life.  Interment will follow her private services in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
