Chasidy N. Mayle, DVM

Age 36 of East Canton passed away unexpectedly following a brief illness Friday November 26, 2021, in University Hospital, Cleveland. She was born September 7, 1985, in Canton to Louis Keith and Betty J. (Hughes) Thompson. She was a 2003 graduate of East Canton High School, received her bachelor’s degree from Findlay University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University. She was employed by West Main Street Veterinary Clinic in Louisville.  Chasidy was a member of NewPointe Community Church in Canton and volunteered with the Canton South Youth Softball program. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Wilburn Hughes and Louis “Ron” Thompson; one uncle, John Hughes; father-in-law, Lawrence Mayle; grandmother-in-law, Virginia Denison. Chasidy is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Chris L. Mayle to whom she was married 11 years; one daughter, Meredith Jean Mayle; her parents, Keith and Betty Thompson; two sisters, Veronica Thompson and Karre (Steven) Butler; one brother, Kyle (Samantha) Thompson; two grandmothers, Sandra Hughes and Sandra Thompson; mother-in-law, Joyce Mayle (Larry Wagner); brother-in-law, Ryan (Hannah) Mayle; two aunts-in-law, Tammy (Martin) Snyder and Robin (Dwayne) Perry; two cousins-in-law, Steven and Shane Perry; numerous extended aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. Friends and family will be received Thursday December 2, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. A private family service will be conducted on Friday.
