David M. "Shorty" "Yardman" Arbogast

Age 64 of Canton died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Born October 3, 1956 in Canton, Ohio to Lemuel and Thelma (Yokum) Arbogast. He was formerly employed by Winters Foundry, Americold and Belden & Blake. David was a member of the NRA and loved fishing, hunting and NASCAR. He enjoyed his time spent at the Old Landmark and Frame’s taverns and considered the people there as his second family. He leaves behind his family farm which they referred to as the “Hole in the Woods Farm” that he treasured. The family will miss his witty remarks and his personal conversations with himself. “Thanks for all the laughs Dave!” Preceded in death by his father, Lemuel “Bud” Arbogast; one sister, Lisa Arbogast. He is survived by his mother, Thelma Arbogast; four sisters, Gloria (Chuck) Tomer, Cheryl Driskill, Sandra (Tim) Keysor, Karen (Rod) Oberster; one brother, Linden Arbogast (Joanie Hill); numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday, Jan 2, 2021 from 3 – 5 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Memorial donations may be made to the National Rifle Assoc.
